| Why we need your help? Our commitment to our children remains as strong now as it was in the early days. But that commitment costs money. Feeding, clothing, school books, pocket money costs a lot for two children’s parents. We have sixteen children and must pay for their carers. Prices in Romania have risen dramatically in the months since they joined the EU; above all for us, the salaries of the carers have soared: they are our biggest expense, but of course they are vital - they cook, they wash, they help with the homework and, above all, they love the children. We need to raise our income by at least an additional £6000 this year to keep the roof over their heads and for them to continue with their education and training. And it doesn’t stop there. Our youngest four children are just 5 years old so our need for money will remain for some years to come. Your help is urgently needed. Please give what you can as even the smallest amount will make a difference to each and every one of these children’s lives. Thank you. |
